Export Hestar is a family run company located in Mosfellsbær, near Reykjavík and was founded in 2005 but Eysteinn Leifsson the founder and owner has been working in horse exporting since 1995. Eysteinn has a degree in agronomy and also in riding instruction from Hólar the horse and riding school in north-Iceland. Eysteinn has worked around horses for years and has been abroad working in Sweden and in Germany for example and is fluent in german and swedish. This company thrives off of good connections and true relationship, many of our customers contact us time and time again for a new horse they need to ship to Europe.
